Con un mensaje en su cuenta de Twitter, el cantante Carlos Cuevas dio el anuncio de la muerte del músico y productor, reconocido por su forma de tocar el requinto.
“Con profunda tristeza informo que acaba de fallecer mi gran maestro y amigo el requinto de México @ChaminCorrea, creador de grandes arreglos musicales y de grandes artistas. QEPD”, señaló.
Chamín Correa fue el fundador del trío musical ‘Los Tres Caballeros’, junto a Roberto Cantoral y Leonel Gálvez, quienes tocaron éxitos como ‘El Reloj’ y ‘La Barca’.
